Bobi Wine to Unveil manifesto in Museveni's Region

Bobi Wine going heading to Nomination Venue

Kampala - Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine who is now a presidential candidate,  is set to launch his manifesto in Mbarara City on Friday, November 6, 2020.

The former pop-star  will on the same day officially open National Unity Platform (NUP) offices in the district. Mbarara is within the same metropolitan as Kiruhura, the ancestral home of the incumbent president of Uganda and National Resistance Party (NRM) nominee Mr Yoweri Tibuhaburwa Museveni.

For decades Mbarara had  been an Museveni stronghold until now when Kyagulanyi seams to be turning things down.

Bobi Wine's had planned to launch his manifesto at NUP offices in Kamwokya on Tuesday, which was blocked by security operatives when police arrested him and later dumped him at his home in magere.

Several people, including Bobi Wine himself, were injured and are currently undergoing treatment in different hospitals across the country.

His decision to launch his manifesto in Mbarara leaves a lot of un-answered questions, is he for real? did Museveni hear this? will the police let him do it?

Bobi wine has for a long time been blocked by police from appearing on public gatherings be it a wedding , fundraising , burial ceremony etc. all this has been reported by THE FAST OBSERVER NEWS and more news sources out there. Now i don't think the old man will take the news of Bobi wine going to Mbarara lightly- as it is another momentum builder for the young politician.

Bobi Wine has also rejected the government security detail that was given to him by the Electoral Commission after his nomination yesterday, party Secretary General David Lewis Rubongoya has announced during a presser at the party offices.
