Uganda Police Website Hacked, Taken down by Anonymous

Popular hacker group "ANONYMOUS" on Saturday claimed responsibility for taking down the official website of The Uganda Police Force.

The website upf.go.ug - which was live on Friday, is currently unavailable and the url redirects to empty pages, showing suspended page.

Anonymous is known for actively defending human rights digitally by hacking websites, social media accounts and more.

They on Saturday claimed responsibility for the hack in a tweet. 

According to their recent posts, The group has been following the happenings in Uganda and took down the website because of the actions of the Police force.
