BREAKING - MTV 'Mama' Awards 2021 cancelled after pressure from Ugandans

FAST OBSERVER NEWS | MTV Base Africa today afternoon announced in tweet that they had cancelled the 2021 MAMA Awards event which was mean't to happen in Uganda.

The awards were scheduled for this February , Unfortunately they have been called off. This comes at a time when the country is in a very high political temperature following the recently completed presidential election.

The action of calling off the event could be as a result of request from Bobi Wine supporters who allege the country is not peaceful enough to hold the event.

MTV Base is postponing the 2021 MTV Africa Music Awards.
